...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 11 AM SUNDAY... WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations between 1 and 3 inches and ice accumulations up to one tenth inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. WHERE...The Tri Cities and northern Thumb portions of southeast Michigan. WHEN...From midnight tonight to 11 AM Sunday. IMPACTS...Untreated roads, especially bridges and overpasses, become slick and hazardous as temperatures drop into the upper 20s after midnight. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A burst of snow after midnight becomes mixed with sleet or snow pellets and freezing rain toward sunrise. The wintry mix becomes all rain before ending mid to late morning. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Allow extra travel time Sunday morning. You can obtain the latest road conditions from the MDOT Michigan Drive Map.

WHAT...Expect sustained winds up to 32 knots from the west with gusts up to 43 knots. The largest significant waves will be 8 feet with a potential maximum wave height of 11 feet. WHERE...Outer Saginaw Bay SW of Alabaster to Port Austin MI to Inner Saginaw Bay and Inner Saginaw Bay SW of Point Au Gres to Bay Port MI. WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 11 PM EDT Monday with the largest waves expected around 2 AM EDT Tuesday. IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for hazardous conditions.
