At 243 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 12 nm northeast of Nettles Island, or 12 nm east of Saint Lucie Nuclear Power Plant, moving northeast at 35 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, lightning and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets.
