WHEN...From this afternoon to Wednesday afternoon. IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Floodwaters are about 1 foot deep in the baseball diamond in Fireman's Park along Highway DD. Water is over portions of Highway DD in Rock Springs. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 15.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 13.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 20.3 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 18.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.5 feet on 07/12/2008. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood River forecasts are available for some but not all river gaging locations. WHEN...Until late Wednesday morning. IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, There is widespread inundation of lowland in the Reedsburg area. Floodwaters affect West Second Street, Granite Avenue and South Webb Avenue along the river. Water affects the concrete deck of the South Webb Avenue bridge. Floodwaters are into Webb Park and Smith Conservancy. The Public Works Yard is under 2 to 2.5 feet of water. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 14.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:00 AM CDT Monday was 14.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.5 feet just after midnight tonight.
