Funnel cloud possible. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... North Hollywood...Hollywood...Downtown Los Angeles...Alhambra... Pasadena...Universal City...Burbank...Griffith Park...Glendale... Beverly Hills...Sylmar...Tujunga...and East Los Angeles. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following counties, Los Angeles and Ventura. WHEN...Until 100 AM PST. IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1119 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain falling across the advisory area. Rainfall rates between 0.25 and 0.50 inch per hour with local rates up to around 0.75 inch per hour have been observed with this line. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Law enforcement and public reports indicates a large amount of roadway flooding on Interstate 5 between Santa Clarita and the Kern County line. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
