Until 800 PM CDT. At 716 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Benton to near Cottonwood Grove, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Sikeston, Charleston, Portageville, East Prairie, New Madrid, Cairo, Hickman, Clinton, Oran, Lilbourn, La Center, Miner, Benton, Bardwell, Wickliffe, Towosahgy State Historic Site, Big Oak Tree State Park, Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site, Morehouse, and Bertrand.
