...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT MONDAY... WHAT...Blizzard conditions, especially overnight into Monday morning. Additional snow accumulations between 8 and 10 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. WHERE...Calumet, Winnebago, Brown, and Outagamie Counties. WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT Monday. IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute. Strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will be a lull in the heavy snow through this evening. During the lull, there will be periods of light snow snow mixed with light freezing drizzle. Strong winds will still produce significant blowing and drifting snow in open areas. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your vehicle.
