...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON... WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. WHERE...A portion of northeast Ohio, including the following county, Lake. WHEN...Until 115 PM EDT. IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1007 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Painesville, Willowick, Fairport Harbor, Euclid, Mentor, Willoughby, Eastlake, Madison, Perry, Timberlake, Wickliffe, Mentor-On-The-Lake, Kirtland, North Perry, Kirtland Hills, Grand River and North Madison. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information.
