IMPACTS...Long duration summer-like heat wave will lead to increased risk of heat illness, especially for vulnerable people such as the young and old and those without cooling systems. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside.
