Higher totals in excess of a foot possible in the higher terrain of Baraga county. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. WHERE...Baraga, Iron, Gogebic, Ontonagon, and Southern Houghton Counties. WHEN...From 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ this evening to 2 PM EDT /1 PM CDT/ Friday. IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Friday morning commute. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. Prepare for possible power outages.
