WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following county, Broward. WHEN...Until 415 PM EDT. IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 221 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Plantation, Lauderhill, Oakland Park, Lauderdale Lakes, Dania Beach, Wilton Manors, Lazy Lake, Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Franklin Park, Washington Park, Golden Heights, Port Everglades, Chula Vista, St. George, Melrose Park, Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport, Broadview Park and Fort Lauderdale Beach. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
