Locally higher amounts in excess of a foot possible along and north of M-28. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. WHERE...Alger, Delta, Luce, Northern Schoolcraft, and Southern Schoolcraft Counties. WHEN...From midnight tonight to 8 PM EDT Friday. IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. Prepare for possible power outages.
