WHEN...From this afternoon to early Wednesday morning. IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding mainly impacts wildlands and agricultural pasture land. The approaches on both ends of the County Road VV bridge over the Black River in Jackson County may begin to flood and the bridge gates may be closed. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 11.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 12.5 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.5 feet on 04/15/2002. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
