...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT TUESDAY... WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. WHERE...Portions of Eastern Upper and Northern Lower Michigan. WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Tuesday. IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult to impossible, especially on back roads and secondary roadways. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact travel through the evening. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your vehicle. A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds are likely. This will lead to whiteout conditions, making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous highest waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
