WHERE...Wayne County. Most of the lake effect snow will focus in the far northeast end of the county near Red Creek and Wolcott, with minimal accumulation elsewhere. WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 8 AM EDT Wednesday. IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult with snow covered roads and poor visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities. Submit snow reports through our website or social media.

IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for hazardous conditions.
