WHERE...Kittitas Valley and Simcoe Highlands. WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 11 AM PDT Thursday. IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Patchy blowing dust may reduce visibility. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highest winds expected over higher elevations and wind-proned areas, including Highway 97 in the Simcoe Highlands and along Interstate 90 east of Ellensburg. The primary window of strongest winds is expected 8 pm to 2 am. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.
