WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow and widespread blowing snow expected. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. For the Blizzard Warning, blizzard conditions expected. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph. Total snow accumulations for the event of 8 to 18 inches, greatest over the higher terrain on the eastern side of the Sisseton Hills. WHERE...Codington, Deuel, Grant, and Hamlin Counties. WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, from 7 PM this evening to 3 AM CDT Sunday. For the Blizzard Warning, from 3 AM to 7 PM CDT Sunday. IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Whiteout conditions will make travel extremely dangerous or impossible. Strong winds could cause tree damage. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
