Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... You should monitor the latest forecast and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

.Heavy rain is expected to develop across the region Monday through Monday night. Widespread totals of 1 to 2 inches of rain are anticipated with locally higher amounts of 3 inches or greater over the White Mountains and Midcoast of Maine. Ice movement is expected across all rivers but the risk for isolated ice jam flooding will mainly be across the north.
