ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:15 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 17.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this morning to a crest of 18.6 feet this afternoon. WHERE...A portion of northeast Ohio, including the following counties, Medina, Stark, Summit and Wayne. WHEN...Until 645 AM EDT. IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 337 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Akron, Canton, Wooster, Massillon, Barberton, Green, Wadsworth, Tallmadge, North Canton, Orrville, Rittman, Mogadore, Doylestown, Creston, New Franklin, Norton, Canal Fulton, Lakemore, Seville and Smithville. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information.
