The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Monday morning through Monday evening. WINDS...North 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 18 percent. IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will be capable of spreading rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. Obey all local burn restrictions and burn bans. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings.
