We care for and treat our pets as family members, so it’s normal that they return the favor. Our furry friends claim us as their human family, which means they can be as protective of us as we are of them. Just ask one Pit Bull who is warming hearts over on TikTok for watching over his human siblings.

Recently, @nataleenichelle posted a video of her Pit Bull interacting with her twin babies when they started crawling. The video’s on-screen text captures the moment perfectly, describing it as “when the tiny humans are all of a sudden mobile.” Go ahead and press play because the look on this Pit Bull’s face when they move around is priceless.

This Pit Bull’s life will never be the same, and this dog knows it! As the video shows, both babies are crawling around the room. One baby moves toward the fireplace, but this Pit Bull is standing guard in front of it, blocking the baby from harm. This dog is in full-on nanny mode!

As the little one stops in front of the dog, this Pit Bull is openly staring at the camera with an expression that conveys a multitude of emotions. @nataleenichelle joked in the video caption, “Mom, [she ’s] touching me.”

Well, this dog’s human parent wasn’t the only person who guessed what this Pit Bull could have been thinking. Commenters had a field day adding their takes on the situation.

Many felt the pooch’s animated expression was the dog processing the shock of these tiny humans on the go. @alyssaw_society19 said the moment was “your dog realizing he’ll never nap peacefully again.”

@farfollow added, “When he looks at you, his eyes say, ‘What are we doing here? Is this the new normal?’”

To go along with that, @deedeemeeks1chimmed in, “Dog: ‘I didn’t sign up for this. I’mma need extra snacks to babysit.’” Doesn’t this Pit Bull deserve a little treat for watching over them?!

Some simply think this Pit Bull’s face was just trying to get mom’s attention. “He said, ‘You didn’t tell me they moved. Seriously, come get them,’” added @dy3b1hegmy5w. And @lovekayla18 said, “Natalee, come get your hairless hooman.”

Pit Bulls Are Loyal, Lovable Dogs

Sadly, Pit Bulls have been stereotyped as aggressive dogs, and as you see in this clip, that’s not always the case. They’re very lovable dogs. In a statement about Pit Bulls from the ASPCA, the organization said, “These dogs have long been popular family pets, noted for their gentleness, affection, and loyalty.”

So this Pit Bull’s actions are truly on brand. The twins are so lucky to have a sweet Pit Bull to look out for them!
