Violent and fast is how some New Yorkers described storms that caused some serious flash floods across parts of the city Wednesday. Some roads were impassable but passengers on one bus were thanking their driver for getting them home safely. From Brooklyn to Queens to Staten Island and parts of New Jersey, strong winds also brought down trees.
