The Madison Township Fire Department in Indiana was called to the scene of a car stuck in floodwaters on Wednesday. After ensuring the driver was safe, the first responders heard a baby deer being carried downstream in the rapidly rising water. Capt. Joe Sinclair entered the water and rescued the deer, bringing it safely back to shore. Medics on scene provided aid until the deer could be transferred to a local animal rescue.
