You've heard of it raining cats and dogs ... but what about raining bears?

An Arizona police department shared dramatic video of officers and wildlife officials using a tarp to catch a tranquilized bear as it tumbled from a tree.

The Sahuarita Police Department said officers responded to Rancho Sahuarita, where a wandering bear had climbed high into a tree. Arizona Game and Fish personnel then shot the bear with a tranquilizer.

Video shows the team holding a tarp below as the bear drifted off to sleep and plunged downward, safely landing in the makeshift net.

The bear was later relocated to a place where it would be safer from humans, and humans would be safer from it.

"SPD gets their man, no... bear!" the department joked on Facebook, adding that the animal was "safely tranquilized and relocated."
