Thursday’s severe weather threat has risen to a level 4 out of 5, and it includes many of the same areas that were hit hard on Wednesday. The greatest chance for severe storms includes cities like Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, Des Moines, Rockford and Grand Rapids. Tornadoes — some EF3 or greater— hail larger than golf balls, winds in excess of 75 mph and flooding will all be possible. Make sure you have multiple ways to receive warnings as the severe threat will continue overnight. Watch this for your latest hour-by-hour forecast.
