First Alert: Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until 9pm

7 Day Forecast

Thursday Is a First Alert Weather Day: First in line will be the dangerous heat as heat index values climb up to 104° (95° for the actual high) this afternoon with plenty of sunshine. Following this, our attention turns to strong to severe storms this evening. Starting at 6 pm into western portions of the region (Gasconade, Warren, Phelps, and Pike counties), strong to severe storms look to move east approaching the STL Metro area closer to 8-10 pm. The severe risks for storms continues through the rest of the region lasting until midnight. Strong winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes remain possible as the primary threats.
