A sudden and intense storm swept over New York City on Friday, June 12. But after the skies swiftly cleared about 30 minutes later, a rainbow appeared across the sky. This footage from north Brooklyn shows the thunderstorm rolling in from New Jersey and moving east over Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. The National Weather Service had warned that the storm would bring 60-mph wind gusts.
