Life-threatening flooding possible from Louisiana to Georgia

Although no longer classified as a tropical storm, Arthur’s remnants bring a high risk flood threat to the Deep South. The system is expected to bring 5 to 10 inches of rain with locally higher amounts through Friday. Floods threaten the southern and central portions of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama and western portions of Georgia and the Florida Panhandle. Remember to turn around, don’t drown.
