Starbucks has brought back its famous Pumpkin Spice Latte, with competitors like Dunkin', Panera and Krispy Kreme already pouring, but in much of the country, real fall weather is still weeks away. As summers run longer and hotter, pumpkin spice season and sweater weather keep drifting further apart, and brands are increasingly selling the feeling of autumn before the atmosphere delivers it.
