How I Got To The Weather Company

I am an Emmy-nominated writer and producer with more than a decade of experience in journalism. My weather-related work began in 2014 during a stint in local news reporting on how leaves change color in the fall (yes, this actually happened).

Having lived across nine different U.S. states and territories, I’ve become familiar with the unique experiences and challenges that weather brings to nearly every corner of the country. I began my writing career at CNN, working in all areas of the newsgathering and production process for eight years before landing at The Weather Company. I’m particularly drawn to stories featuring passionate characters, cute animals, and rare weather phenomena.
