Temperature can shape your appetite, your activity level and how much energy your body burns. In hot weather, appetite often drops because the body is already working hard to cool itself, and people tend to crave lighter foods like fruit, vegetables and grilled protein. Cold tends to increase hunger, comfort food cravings and the urge to stay on the couch. The forecast won't melt pounds on its own, but it does influence the choices that will.
