Inside history's largest beluga whale rescue mission

It was the largest marine mammal rescue and transport in history: 30 beluga whales traveling internationally to aquariums from a closed park in Canada. The whales traveled by plane to accredited institutions in San Diego, San Antonio, Chicago, Atlanta and even Spain as part of a multiyear mission that involved countless meetings and the cooperation and efforts of hundreds of people, and the weather.com team got to go and meet two of them at Georgia Aquarium: Balor and Zephyr.
