After another long stretch of quiet tropics in the Atlantic, the National Hurricane Center has begun to release advisories for Tropical Depression Six. This depression, located in the northern Atlantic, will slowly strengthen and could become Tropical Storm Fay in the next couple days. It will meander for a bit and then head south out into open water and does not currently pose any threat to land. Here’s the latest.
