F​rom the moon and Venus together in the sky in India to glacier ice melting in Switzerland, it has been another busy week of weather around the world. Here are some of the most jaw-dropping and awe-inspiring weather photos we found this week.

The Weisshorn's east side glacier where local authorities have increased the alert level following multiple ice break-offs, above Randa, southwestern Switzerland, on Sept. 15, 2026. Officials continue to monitor the unstable slope and have restricted access to the designated hazard zone amid concerns over further collapses.

Floodwaters surrounding homes and farmland in the Middle Char area of Char Khidirpur in Paba upazila, Rajshahi district, Bangladesh, on Sept. 13, 2026. Rising water levels in the Padma River inundated several low-lying island communities, leaving more than 200 families in Middle Char marooned. Boats were used to move cattle and belongings to safer areas. Local farmers said nearly 10,000 livestock were facing shortages of fodder and clean drinking water as grazing areas were submerged.
