Late September is shaping up to be one of the best stargazing stretches of the year, with several planets visible without a telescope. The week builds up with Venus, Jupiter, Mars and Mercury all making appearances, each visible at a different time and direction across the sky. Then on Saturday, Sept. 26, the Harvest Moon glows bright and gold with Saturn just below it.
