Four volunteers have finished 378 days inside NASA's 3D-printed CHAPEA Mars habitat at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. The crew grew crops, managed limited resources, navigated communication delays and conducted suited extravehicular activities on a simulated Martian surface. Health and cognitive data collected during the mission will help NASA understand how a long-term trip to Mars could affect astronauts.
