Highs in the 60s and 70s have made a comeback into portions of the Midwest and Northeast, with 80s returning to the southern Plains, Gulf Coast and Florida.

Some semblance of a colder November reality should return to the East and South by the middle of next week, but it remains to be seen how long that will last, given the generally warmer-than-average outlook for the month in that part of the country.
