Freeze Warnings Cover Much Of The South

A shock to the system this morning as millions are waking up to freezing temperatures. High temperatures Monday will run as much as 25 to 30 degrees below average, with places like Atlanta reaching a high of only 40. Tuesday morning will be even colder for many, as temperatures drop into the 20s as far south as the Florida Panhandle. Dozens of records will be in jeopardy, with high temperatures struggling to get out of the 40s in many locations. The wind chill will make the temperatures feel even colder.
