A strong atmospheric river event is moving toward the Pacific Northwest starting this weekend. It’s bringing heavy rain and snow. A multiday flood threat is in place for coastal Oregon and Washington, including Seattle, Portland and Eugene. The northern I-5 corridor is also included in the risk area for flash flooding through the week, so roadways may become hazardous.
