First Snow Of The Season Forecast For D.C.

December 5, 2025

A mix of snow, ice and rain will impact the mid-Atlantic today before tapering off from west to east this afternoon/evening. One to 4 inches of snow appears likely for many including Richmond and Roanoke. Washington D.C. could see around 1 inch, which would make it their first measurable snow of the season. Freezing rain may also result in a light glaze of ice, so please use caution and allow for some extra travel time during your morning and evening commutes. Watch this video for the latest update.
