See It: Whale Greets A Hydrofoil Surfer In Hawaii

A hydrofoil surfer riding the waves near Haleiwa, Hawaii, couldn’t believe it when a whale breached the water and threw up its tail right next to him! Eric Sterman was riding between Turtle Bay and Keiki Beach when it happened. He says while it's “super common” for him to pass whales, getting it on video was amazing.
