Deadly landslides claimed at least 11 lives over the weekend in Indonesia's West Java province.

Heavy rain triggered two landslides in Sumedang, burying homes and blocking roads. Some first responders fell victim to the second landslide as they were aiding in evacuation after the first landslide struck. Reuters reported that 18 were injured.
