The total number of opt-out requests includes California users:

  • Who visited weather.com and wunderground.com with Global Privacy Control ("GPC") enabled on web browsers.

We also opt out any user located in California who visits weather.com with a web browser set to block all cookies or who has an active ad-free subscription (while using the subscription on the applicable Service(s)). While we treat such users as opted-out, these are not counted and not included in our number of requests to opt out.
