Bitter Cold Wind Chills Incoming; Impacts To Holiday Travel

A very strong cold front is sweeping across the U.S., bringing another blast of cold weather along with powerful winds. Gusts could exceed 60 mph at times, so power outages are likely and travel will be impacted. Expect holiday travel delays in some of the major airports like Chicago, Detroit, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Boston Monday and Tuesday. Wind chills will drop into the single digits and teens for millions with subzero wind chills possible across the upper Midwest and interior portions of the Northeast.
