Record Heat to Scorch Southeast in Coming Days

Dangerous heat is set to bake the Southeast with potentially record-breaking temperatures through early next week. Multiple cities such as Raleigh, Charleston, Savannah and Jacksonville are forecasted to reach upper 90s and even triple digits. Charlotte, Atlanta, Columbia, Tallahassee, and Tampa could also see record-breaking temperatures through Monday.
