Extreme Heat Set To Fuel Severe Storms Across Northeast

The extreme heat will peak across the Northeast Friday with feels-like temperatures over 105 degrees possible. This heat will fuel scattered storm development along a cold front as it moves southeast. A few storms may be severe with damaging wind gusts as the main threat along the Interstate 95 corridor from Boston to New York City down to Philadelphia.
