3 Areas To Watch, Tropical Depression Or Storm Likely Today

The National Hurricane Center is now keeping an eye on three areas to watch in the Atlantic. The disturbance near the Cabo Verde Islands will likely become a tropical depression or Tropical Storm Erin later today. Development is unlikely with the second disturbance east of Bermuda as it moves to the north. The new area to watch is an area of low pressure located to the south of Nova Scotia, Canada. Some tropical or subtropical development is possible over the next day or so, but chances look low at this time.
