Chantal To Bring Heavy Rain To North Carolina, Virginia

Chantal made landfall on the South Carolina coast around 4 a.m. Sunday morning and has weakened to a tropical depression as it continues to move inland around 9 mph. Heavy rain, gusty winds will still be a concern across the Carolinas, as well as a chance for flooding rain and tornadoes. The rip current risk will also remain high along the coast.
