Hurricane Erick made landfall along the western coast of Oaxaca Thursday morning as a Category 3 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 125 mph. The strongest winds and most dangerous storm surge will impact the coasts of Oaxaca and Guerrero. 8-12 inches of rain with some totals as high as 16 inches will lead to flash flooding and mudslides.
