Hurricane Erin’s Worst Impacts Felt Today, Tonight

Hurricane Erin has already made its closest approach to North Carolina, but the worst of the impacts will be felt today into tonight. Tropical storm force wind gusts are ongoing along the North Carolina and Virginia coastline. Erin will start to move away from the East Coast today, but the risk for rip currents will continue into the weekend.
