Imelda To Bring Heavy Rain, Gusty Winds, Rough Surf To SE US

Tropical storm warnings remain in effect for the Bahamas, but tropical storm watches have been discontinued for the Florida coast as Imelda’s track continues to shift east. The threat for significant wind impacts continues to decrease along the southeast coast, but the potential for heavy rain, coastal flooding and dangerous surf remains a concern. Imelda is still forecast to become a hurricane by late Monday or Tuesday as it takes a hard right turn out to sea. Here’s the latest.
